Art Theory Summer Camp: The Archive
Summer is here and it is time for Art Theory Summer Camp.
This year, we've linked with the YMCA’s Communiversity, to offer a six-week reading course structured around the archive. Beginning with Walter Benjamin’s "Unpacking My Library" and ending with a selection for Michel Foucault’s Archeology of Knowledge, this summer’s reading is a collection of articles centered around the archive. This discussion based course is designed to make art theory more accessable. Bring questions to the group and we will work to tease out some answers. All questions, great and small, welcome.
Dates:Thursdays 7-8pm, June 14-July 26
Fees: $5 for the reader Dontation: $1 for OPENSOURCE Art (c'mon, its only a dollar to support community/art and you get to use your brain).
